Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a student intern to support the Asset Liability Management Portfolio Intelligence Unit. You will assist in analytics, modelling, automation, and dashboarding to provide insights for portfolio performance and risk monitoring.

The role offers hands-on exposure to market data, financial modelling, and data visualization tools using VBA, Python, and Tableau. You will collaborate with portfolio managers and treasury professionals on data-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficient in Excel with VBA and Python.
Familiarity with Tableau and dashboard development.
Interest in financial markets and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Analytics: monitor ALM portfolio performance and risk metrics.
Financial Modelling: develop/maintain models for portfolio analysis and scenarios.
Process Automation: build VBA and Python tools to automate reporting.
Dashboard Development: create Tableau dashboards for portfolio insights.
Data Mining & Analysis: analyze market data and company financials.
Predictive Analytics: support forecasting and trend analysis.
Market Research: monitor financial markets and industry developments.
Reporting & Administrative Support: prepare management reports and presentations.
