Job summary

AIA Shared Services is seeking a diligent reconciliations professional to strengthen operational effectiveness, assist in reviewing processes, and propose improvements to controls.

You will develop a robust control framework for reconciliation functions and proactively engage finance stakeholders to influence decisions.

With a finance or accounting background, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, contribute across disciplines, markets and levels, and help deliver accurate, timely outputs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience supporting Finance systems projects within the insurance industry is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • The role holder ensures operational effectiveness and efficiency within reconciliations, assist the manager in reviewing existing processes and propose improvements.
  • The role holder assists the manager in developing effective control framework for reconciliation functions.
  • Effectively engage finance stakeholders and gain credibility to influence decision makers.
  • Proactively research best practices and evaluate suggested technical solutions against business requirements to propose most effective solutions.
  • Quality assurance mindset in reviewing system and testing related outputs to ensure accuracy.
  • Result oriented with a sense of urgency to follow up with project-related matters to resolution and proactively report any concerns or unresolved issues that may lead to service interruption or project delays.
  • Represent the department in CPS Review UAT results for product launches.
  • Review daily system reconciliation results.
