Job summary

AIA in Singapore is seeking a finance reconciliations specialist to drive operational efficiency within reconciliation processes and support improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with the finance team, review UAT outputs, and help ensure accurate daily reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes developing strong controls, researching best practices, and engaging stakeholders to influence decisions. A degree in Finance/Accounting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting Finance systems projects within the insurance industry would be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency within reconciliations and assist the manager in reviewing processes and proposing improvements.
• Assist the manager in developing a control framework for reconciliation functions.
• Engage finance stakeholders and influence decision makers with credibility.
• Research best practices and evaluate technical solutions against business requirements to propose effective solutions.
• Maintain QA mindset in reviewing system and testing outputs for accuracy.
• Be results-oriented with urgency to follow up on project-related matters and report concerns to prevent delays.
• Represent the department in CPS.
• Review UAT results for product launches.
• Review daily system reconciliation results.

About the Role
