Job summary

ONYX SG PTE. LTD. invites an Accounting Associate to join our finance team on a 6-month contract, with potential conversion to permanent role based on performance.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will handle full spectrum of day-to-day accounting and treasury tasks within a team of 5 professionals. You will assist with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and preparation of supporting schedules, while coordinating treasury activities including FX, loan drawdowns and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting work experience with focus on financial reporting and full sets of accounts.
• Experience in cash flow management or treasury operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in Pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting and treasury activities, including month-end closing.
• Prepare financial reporting and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate treasury matters such as foreign exchange transactions, loan drawdowns and rollovers.
• Assist with payment processing and banking activities.
• Work with a team of 5 to ensure accurate and timely results.

Job description

My client is a well-established Singapore-based technology and engineering group with a diverse portfolio of businesses and regional operations, seeking an Accounting Associate to join their finance team on a 6-month contract basis, with the potential for conversion to a permanent position subject to performance and business requirements.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will work in a team of 5 staff. He / She will need to support the team in managing the full spectrum of day-to-day accounting and treasury activities, including month-end closing, account reconciliations, financial reporting and preparation of supporting schedules. The role will also be responsible for coordinating treasury-related matters such as foreign exchange transactions, loan drawdowns and rollovers, as well as payment processing and banking activities.

Successful applicants will be part of a collaborative finance team, working closely with experienced finance professionals and gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting and treasury activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Min 5 years of accounting work experience which focus on financial reporting and Full sets of Accounts
• Prior work experience in cash flow management or treasury operation is an advantage
• Working experience in Pivot table and Vlookup
