minden.ai is seeking a Finance Executive / Specialist to support daily finance operations, GL maintenance, reconciliations and audit activities. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract to join the Finance team in Singapore.]

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with 1–4 years' experience, knowledge of SFRS, and proficiency in Xero and Excel. You will work in a fast-paced environment with close attention to accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 1–4 years' experience in finance or accounting; experience in GL, reconciliations and month-end is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Proficiency with Xero or similar ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries including accruals, prepayments, reclassifications and provisions.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the chart of accounts is applied accurately.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Assist with audit schedules and respond to auditor requests.

We are looking for a Finance Executive / Specialist to join our Finance team on a 1-year fixed term contract. This role will support the day-to-day finance operations, month-end closing, partner reconciliations and statutory audit activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

As a Finance & Accounting Executive /Specialist, you will assist in:

General Ledger

• Prepare journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, reclassifications and provisions, in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the chart of accounts is applied accurately and consistently.
• Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.

Partner Reconciliation

• Perform regular reconciliations of partner, related-party and intercompany accounts, including accounts receivable and accounts payable balances.
• Prepare and circulate partner and intercompany balance confirmations, and follow up with counterparties to ensure timely responses.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation and confirmation processes.

Audit Support

• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for statutory audits.
• Respond to auditor requests by providing reconciliations, general ledger extracts and supporting documentation.
• Assist the Finance team in tracking and resolving outstanding audit queries.

What You Should Have

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 1 - 4 years' experience in finance or accounting. Experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations and month-end closing will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Xero or similar ERP/accounting software) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience supporting statutory audits or working with external auditors is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Well-organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Able to commit to a 1-year fixed-term contract.
