This entry-to-mid-level role collaborates with the Senior Accounting Specialist and Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure data accuracy, and support month-end closing processes. You will gain hands-on experience in full-set accounting, corporate financial reporting, and audit support, with emphasis on accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience (internships count).
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP software.
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, verify expenses, payments, and assist with collections.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and ledgers.
• Prepare, review, and post general ledger journal entries.
• Assist in monthly financial statement preparation (P&L and balance sheets).
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assist with ad hoc assignments.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical contract Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. In this entry-to-mid-level role, you will work closely with our Senior Accounting Specialist and Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure data accuracy, and assist with month-end closing processes. You will gain hands‑on experience in full‑set accounting and corporate financial reporting.

Employment duration: 1 year

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, payment and assist with collections.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and ledgers.
• Journal Entries: Prepare, review, and post general ledger journal entries accurately.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) and balance sheets.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
• Ac Hoc Assignment: Assist in assignments when necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships count). Familiarity with Singapore corporate accounting practices is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting ERP software.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English
