Job summary

WEC Engineers & Constructors Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Land Surveyor to perform precise pre- and post-survey measurements, prepare detailed survey reports, and support engineering design and as-built documentation.

You will coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with construction drawings, resolve discrepancies promptly, maintain survey equipment, and liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and authorities to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in relevant Engineering or Land Surveying discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in surveying field.
• Proficiency in oral and written English communication to prepare reports and liaise with stakeholders.
• Competent in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to provide accurate survey data with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Initiative and proactivity in executing and delivering assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate pre-measurements and prepare detailed survey reports to support engineering design requirements.
• Verify that all field and pipeline coordinates align precisely with construction drawings.
• Identify and report any discrepancies between construction drawings and site conditions immediately to the project team and engineering.
• Conduct accurate post-measurements and produce survey reports for as-built drawings.
• Maintain and calibrate all relevant survey equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers (sub-contractors), and authorities to manage project-related issues.
• Ensure timely marking and provision of all necessary coordinates for the construction team.
• Resolve survey-related problems by implementing corrective and preventive actions and conducting follow-up audits to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate actively in management and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) meetings.
• Communicate technical matters clearly with clients and authorities to facilitate project progress.
• Coordinate efficiently between engineering design/drafting teams and project teams to ensure seamless workflow.
