About the Job

In this position, you will take responsibility for a customer territory in Singapore and carry out installation, preventative maintenance, and after-sales troubleshooting and repair. This is a crucial position in which you will assist customers both before and after sales, and building strong trust with end-users.

Job Responsibilities:

• On-field service support in hospitals, clinics, and research institutions
• Performing PPM (planned preventative maintenance), new installations, and testing and commissioning
• Timely breakdown response and repair. Occasionally assisting customers through remote means
• Assisting sales team with equipment setup for demonstrations or presentations
• Handling spare parts installation and sales, including quoting customers and recommending appropriate solutions

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of service engineering experience in the medical device, scientific equipment, or diagnostic equipment industry, with exposure to multiple fields of equipment being an advantage
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, not just with your own team but with colleagues from other functions
• Passion for learning and developing your technical knowledge of new technologies
• Familiarity with relevant medical device regulations in Singapore under the Health Sciences Authority
