Job summary

Stafflink Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a field service technician to install, commission, service, troubleshoot and repair our equipment at customer sites. You will read drawings and manuals, perform start-up, calibration, and testing to ensure systems meet specifications.

Ideally you have a Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering and 2 years of field service experience; basic understanding of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems is an advantage;

Qualifications

• Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2 years of field service, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation or repair experience will be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of company equipment and components at customer sites.
• Conduct equipment inspection and identify mechanical, electrical and operational faults.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and carry out appropriate corrective and repair works.
• Liaise with customers, engineers and internal teams regarding equipment performance, technical issues and service requirements.
• Perform equipment testing and ensure systems are operating according to required specifications.
• Assist with equipment start-up, calibration and functional testing where required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, schematics and equipment manuals to support installation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, checklists and other technical documentation.
