Job summary

Fuji Packaging Machines Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Technician to join our field engineering team in Singapore. The role is full-time and based in the Boon Lay West Region, delivering preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging machinery to clients across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Technician or Field Engineer in packaging machinery or similar industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in packaging machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging machinery at client sites.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and efficiently.
• Install, commission and test packaging machines according to specifications and safety standards.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients regarding operation and maintenance.
• Document all service activities, maintenance records and spare parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at customer premises.
• Coordinate with engineering team to escalate complex technical issues when needed.
• Maintain service equipment and tools in good condition.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
