Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is hiring for a field service technician to assist Engineers with installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of packaging and warehouse machinery at customer sites. You will perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly, machine setup, and equipment servicing, with some troubleshooting under supervision.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience or strong hands-on aptitude, NITEC/Higher NITEC or related diploma, and exposure to machine setup.

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Microelectronics Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong hands-on aptitude are welcome.
• Experience in machine setup, installation, modification, troubleshooting or repair is an advantage.
• Class 3 driving license is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers with installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of packaging and warehouse machinery at customer sites.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly, machine setup, and equipment servicing.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and repairs under guidance of Engineers.
• Assist senior colleagues with higher-level tasks, including robot teaching and sub-unit servicing.
• Handle and maintain specific jigs, tools, and equipment required for service jobs.
• Prepare service tools and equipment and ensure proper housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Prepare technical reports, service records, checklists, and attend weekly meetings/presentations.
• Perform 24/7 standby and ad-hoc shift duties according to roster and operational requirements.
• Assist with ad-hoc delivery and other duties as assigned.
