Job summary

Business Edge Personnel Services Pte Ltd is seeking a field service/installation technician in Singapore. The role involves production, service, repair, installation, FAT, field construction, plant commissioning, sea trials, and inspection of customer-supplied products.

The candidate should have an ITE or Diploma in Electronics/Communication/Electrical/Mechatronics with 2–3 years of experience, and may come from marine or service-related industries requiring 24-hour standby or shift work.

Qualifications

ITE or Diploma in Electronics/Communication/Electrical/Mechatronics with 2–3 years of experience.
Experience in marine or service-related fields with 24/7 standby or shift work is preferred.
Ability to understand and follow installation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Carry out production, service, repair, installation, FAT, field construction, plant commissioning, sea trials and inspection of customer-supplied products.
Maintain project documentation and comply with ISO docs such as Job Safety Analysis and Permit to Work.
Coordinate requisition of key equipment and materials; liaise with customers on installation needs.
Ensure work meets acceptance criteria per technical/installation manuals and assist in preparing design/drawings.
Develop a complete field support process covering all products; identify and record quality issues.
Operate and manage inspection, measuring, and test equipment as an equipment owner.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Managers and Engineers.
