Job summary

Puricare Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain water dispensers and filtration systems at customer sites. You will develop technical skills and contribute to service improvements.

The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical experience, a Nitec in engineering, and a valid driving license. You will travel to various locations and engage with customers to ensure proper operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Nitec certification in engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, water filtration, or field service.
• Class 3 or 2 driving license; owning a motorbike is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
• Willingness to learn new skills and engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and identify root causes to repair water dispensers and filtration equipment.
• Install, test, and commission new water dispensers and filtration systems at customer sites.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and filtration knowledge to troubleshoot issues.
• Investigate recurring problems to develop long-term solutions for reliability.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain problems and solutions.
• Travel to different customer sites and manage time effectively.
• Complete service calls and maintain equipment standards.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and identify root causes to repair water dispensers and filtration equipment effectively
• Install, test, and commission new water dispensers and filtration systems at various customer locations
• Apply mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and filtration knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Investigate recurring problems to develop and recommend long-term solutions that improve equipment reliability
• Contribute ideas to enhance service procedures, tools, and troubleshooting methods for better efficiency
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain problems and solutions, ensuring equipment functions properly before departure
• Work independently and manage time effectively while traveling to different customer sites
• Demonstrate responsibility and reliability in completing service calls and maintaining equipment standards
• Continuously learn new technical skills and adapt to emerging technologies in the field service environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Nitec certification in any engineering discipline
• 1-2 years of relevant hands‑on experience in electrical work, mechanical equipment, plumbing, refrigeration, appliance repair, water filtration, industrial equipment, or general field service
• Possess a Class 3 or 2 driving license and own a motorbike (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Willingness to learn new skills and engage with customers
