Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled maintenance and hands-on servicing for semiconductor equipment at our Woodlands site. The role involves deep cleaning, component replacements, and calibration to prevent drift and ensure tool reliability.

The ideal candidate has a technical diploma or equivalent, with experience in preventive maintenance and familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience in preventive maintenance, equipment servicing, or technical support within semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, vacuum components, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, technical manuals, inspection procedures, and equipment checklists.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled periodic maintenance routines per manufacturer manuals and checklists.
• Perform deep cleaning, component replacement, and parts overhaul (e.g., O-rings, vacuum valves, heater jackets, filters).
• Conduct systematic mechanical, electrical, and soft calibration checks to prevent drift or unexpected tool failure.
• Comply with customer site requirements, including cleanroom protocols, equipment safety procedures, and workplace health and safety standards.
