Job summary

STAFFKING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, test, and commission automated equipment at customer sites, and perform on-site servicing and preventive maintenance. The role travels overseas for assignments across US and Asia, with a 5-day work week and 8:30am-5:30pm hours.

You will build strong customer relationships, prepare simple English reports, and support after-hours tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in equipment servicing and repair, ideally in semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission new automated equipment at customer sites.
• Assemble, service, upgrade and carry out preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults to keep customer operations running smoothly.
• Travel for overseas assignments of 1 week to 6 months across the US, Malaysia, China, Thailand and Vietnam.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive, reliable on-site support.
• Prepare simple service reports in English.
• Support after-hours work when needed, and take on other technical tasks as assigned.

• Salary: $3,800 – $4,200 basic + overseas allowance up to USD $2000/month
