Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and support semiconductor equipment at customer sites in Singapore. You will diagnose and resolve equipment, process and performance issues, and provide technical training while maintaining detailed service reports.

The role requires 2+ years in servicing automation or semiconductor equipment, strong troubleshooting, and willingness to travel overseas on short notice for installations and field service activities.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience servicing, maintaining, or supporting automated manufacturing, production, or semiconductor equipment.
• Computer literate with good troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Willing and able to travel overseas at short notice to support installation, commissioning, and field service activities.

Job description

• Install, commission, and support semiconductor equipment at customer sites, including system setup, acceptance testing, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment, process, and performance issues through effective troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and timely corrective actions.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices while maintaining accurate service reports and documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering excellent technical support, identifying service improvement opportunities, and supporting spare parts, maintenance, and service revenue growth.
