Job summary

G AND B SERVICE PTE LTD is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Customer Engineer to support senior engineers at customer sites, performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades. You will use digital analytics and diagnostic tools to identify issues and coordinate with customers on service activities.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas-delivery systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree, military technical training, trade certification, or equivalent field service experience.
1–2 years of field service or related technical experience.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
Fundamental knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum technology, thermodynamics.
Familiarity with hand tools and test equipment such as digital multimeters.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
Ability to comply with customer site safety, environmental, and health requirements.

Responsibilities

Support Senior Field Service Engineers with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades at customer sites.
Utilize digital analytics and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas delivery systems.
Communicate and coordinate directly with customers regarding service activities and equipment status.
Carry out additional assigned operational and technical duties.
