Job summary

GNA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and upgrades at customer sites. You will work with Senior Field Service Engineers and communicate status to customers.

The role requires reading electrical and mechanical schematics, basic troubleshooting, and hands-on use of calibration tools. Travel to sites may be required, and safety protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent field service experience.
• 1–2 years of field service, customer support, equipment maintenance, or related technical role.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum technology, thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and test equipment such as digital multimeters.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
• Ability to comply with customer site safety, environmental, and health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Field Service Engineers with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades at customer sites.
• Utilize digital analytics and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas delivery systems.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding service activities and equipment status.
• Carry out additional assigned operational and technical duties.
