Job summary

Reeracoen Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Chiller) to support maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning activities for chiller systems. The role involves on-site coordination, safety compliance, and timely reporting of service activities.

The candidate will interpret technical drawings, supervise subcontractors, and deliver effective technical solutions to customers, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with field service for chillers or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret as-built drawings and technical documents.
• Capable of testing, commissioning and fine-tuning chillers.
• Willingness to supervise subcontractors and coordinate on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance activities for chiller systems and monitor maintenance works.
• Ensure all maintenance works follow prescribed checklists and schedules.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and fine-tuning of new chillers; coordinate on-site project execution; witness FAT/SAT.
• Interpret as-built drawings and analyze operating data to identify issues.
• Manage on-site chiller overhaul and repair works; supervise subcontractors and monitor service quality.
• Prepare service reports for each service assignment.
• Address customer service concerns with effective technical solutions and preventive measures.
• Prepare risk assessments prior to service and repair activities; ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely per workplace procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Our client, a leading Japanese manufacturing company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Chiller) to support chiller maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning activities.

【 Responsibilities 】

• Schedule maintenance activities for chiller systems and monitor maintenance works, including necessary follow-up actions.
• Ensure all maintenance works are carried out according to prescribed checklists and schedules.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and fine-tuning of new chillers, including coordinating project execution at site, witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and conducting Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure chillers operate according to targeted performance requirements.
• Interpret as-built documents, schematic drawings and technical documents, as well as analyse operating data from chillers to identify and rectify technical issues.
• Manage on-site chiller overhaul and repair works, including supervising subcontractors and monitoring service quality and work progress.
• Prepare service reports for each service assignment.
• Address customer service concerns by providing prompt and effective technical solutions for chiller-related issues and recommending appropriate preventive measures.
• Prepare risk assessments prior to service and repair activities and ensure compliance with relevant safety procedures.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable workplace safety procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
