Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an Asst/ Field Service Engineer (Breathing Apparatus) to join our service team. You will support start-up, maintenance and repairs, with emphasis on safety and timely response to breakdowns.

The ideal candidate holds an NTC 2 or Diploma in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering, with 1–2 years of service experience; a Class 3 driving license is required. Shortlisted applicants only.

Qualifications

• NTC 2 or Diploma in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of service/engineering experience in a similar industry.
• Class 3 driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and to carry out warranty repairs.
• Participate in service and repair of personnel protection equipments, safety activities, emergency response, breakdown calls and ad hoc projects.
• Manage all orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Service team.
• Liaison with customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistic teams regarding queries, technical issues, status and deliveries.
• Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level of efficiency.
• Provide support to other service activities as assigned.
• Communicate technical information accurately to employees, customers and external parties in writing and verbally.
• Participate in Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/activities as requested by the company.
