Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. is seeking Field Service Engineer / Assistant Engineer (FSE) with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor/electronics to provide on-site and remote support across Asia, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex test systems.

The role requires strong electronics fundamentals, customer-facing communication, and willingness to travel to customer sites in Asia. Work is in a 5-day, 8:30AM–5:30PM schedule with AWS + performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, field service, or application engineering preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in analog/digital electronics, metrology, and semiconductor test systems.
• Willing to travel and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site and remote technical support to customers across Asia.
• Performing equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system recovery.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex system-level issues in live production environments.
• Developing, debugging, and validating application test programmes.
• Supporting application board design, assembly, and system validation.
• Translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Travelling to customer sites across Asia as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing on-site and remote technical support to customers across Asia.
• Performing equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system recovery.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex system-level issues in live production environments.
• Developing, debugging, and validating application test programmes.
• Supporting application board design, assembly, and system validation.
• Translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Supporting system setup, integration, and acceptance testing at customer sites.
• Working with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to resolve equipment and system issues.
• Driving continuous improvement based on customer feedback and system performance.
• Travelling to customer sites across Asia as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, field service, or application engineering preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in analog/digital electronics, metrology, and semiconductor test systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience in field service or customer-facing technical roles is an advantage.
• Willing to travel and work at customer sites.
• Candidates open to both FSE and Assistant Engineer, FSE should clearly indicate this preference.
