Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with an ITE/NITEC or Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision Engineering, or related disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with an interest in precision equipment and robotics.
• Detail-oriented with a disciplined attitude toward quality control and safety procedures.
• Comfortable entering cleanroom environments and wearing full cleanroom attire during site visits.

Responsibilities

• Workshop Operations (Primary Focus): Perform routine maintenance, disassembly, cleaning, component replacement, and reassembly of semiconductor robotics and mechanical/pneumatic assemblies.
• Assist in functional testing, sensor calibration, alignment checks, and repeatability verification in the workshop.
• Prepare testing fixtures, manage spare parts, and maintain workshop 5S and ESD safety standards.
• Accurately document maintenance checklists, test records, and service overhaul reports.
• On-Site Field Support (Occasional / As-Needed): Support senior engineers at customer sites (Wafer Fabs) for equipment delivery, physical installation, hook-up, or urgent troubleshooting.
• Comply with semiconductor fab safety rules and cleanroom protocols during site visits.

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer to join our technical service team. This is an entry-level position open to candidates seeking hands-on technical experience in semiconductor robotics and precision automation. Fresh graduates from technical institutions (ITE / Polytechnic) are welcome to apply.

Primary Work Focus

This role is primarily workshop-based, focusing on the teardown, overhaul, functional testing, and precision assembly of semiconductor automation modules (such as wafer transfer robots, aligners, and motion controllers). You will occasionally travel to local customer sites (Wafer Fabs) alongside senior engineers for equipment installation or ad-hoc troubleshooting.

Working Hours & Location

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM
• Overtime: Flexibility for occasional weekday or weekend overtime based on urgent maintenance schedules or customer project requirements (Overtime pay provided in accordance with MOM guidelines)
• Primary Work Location: Woodlands Industrial Park (WAVE9) Workshop; occasional visits to local customer Wafer Fabs

Requirements

• No prior work experience required. Fresh graduates or entry-level job seekers with an ITE (NITEC / Higher NITEC) or Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision Engineering, or related technical disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with an interest in precision equipment and robotics.
• Detail-oriented with a disciplined attitude toward quality control and safety procedures.
• Comfortable entering cleanroom environments and wearing full cleanroom attire (bunny suit) during customer site visits when required.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime to support urgent customer equipment demands (low frequency).
• Language Proficiency (Mandarin - Listening, Speaking, and Reading): Required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking regional engineering teams, cross-reference technical documentation/schematics from Taiwan and China, and liaise with overseas vendors/customers. Writing skills in Chinese are not required.
