Job summary

General Robotics Technology Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks Robotics Engineers with a Field Robotics focus to integrate our technology on physical hardware and lead customer deployments.

You will work on end-to-end development for GRID and deploy state-of-the-art AI models on real robots, collaborating with a world-class team of AI and robotics pioneers. You will design robust robotics and ML algorithms, set up robots for real-world use, and optimize edge compute performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in robotics, ML, or control algorithms.
• Proficient with ROS/ROS2 and robotics hardware/software stacks.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Work authorization in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the end-to-end development platform (GRID).
• Design, develop, and implement robotics, control, and ML algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Set up robots for real-world deployments, including edge compute and sensors.
• Deploy AI models on hardware; lead field deployment and evaluation.
• Optimize systems considering bandwidth, compute and latency for edge devices.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to platform, hardware, and AI performance.
• Collaborate with AI and Simulation Engineers to transfer techniques to the field.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams to grow value.
