Job summary

Zenlayer Inc. is seeking an Internet Field Ops Technician to join our global data center operations in Tai Wan.

You will monitor shift activities, coordinate with the Support Team, and ensure 24x7 availability through proactive troubleshooting and on-site support. The role requires hardware and network knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work rotating shifts including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; 1+ year IT support experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of networks, servers, and operating systems; TCP/IP understanding.

Responsibilities

• Complete hardware support work orders and MACs with device labeling, power/network setup, certification, troubleshooting and break-fix.
• Maintain a secure operating environment by following security/data protection protocols and logging practices.
• Maintain asset management, daily logs, documentation, and retention procedures.
• Provide smart-hands assistance at multiple sites within SLA.
• Report data center service availability, performance and capacity utilization.
