Job summary

NICHE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. seeks a proactive AV installation support specialist in Singapore to assist Project Managers on project executions, coordinate site installation schedules, and prepare cables and connectors lists for procurement.

You may attend construction meetings to ensure alignment with plans. You will attend construction meetings, coordinate with installation teams and other trades, ensure cabling aligns with designs, and provide weekly site progress updates.

Qualifications

• Responsible and self-motivated; able to start and drive tasks.
• Preferably 2+ years in AV operation, engineering or installation.
• Safety certifications – BCSS/Supervise Construction Work for WHS.
• Industry certifications are advantageous.
• Comfortable working on construction sites when required.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Driven to exceed expectations and deliver excellence.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Must have at least a Professional Certificate/NITEC/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers on project executions.
• Coordinate and plan with Project Manager for site installation schedule.
• Plan and submit cables, connectors and accessories list for procuring for assigned project.
• Attend construction meeting with Project Manager, if applicable.
• Coordinate with internal installation team (or sub-contractor) for cabling, installation, and racking works.
• Coordinate with other trades in the project such as data, lighting, carpentry for cabling and installation works that involve the other trades.
• Ensure all cabling and installation works are done correctly according to design schematics by installation team.
• Work with project manager to provide site progress updates for weekly report.
