Ecolab in Singapore seeks an on-site Field Service Engineer to support sales teams and customers with problem solving, site surveys, and installation tasks. You will work with district personnel to resolve issues, evaluate new applications, and help ensure product reliability.

The role requires coordination with manufacturing plants for parts availability, and travel to Jurong Island. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent education with industry experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience in materials, scheduling, inventory, manufacturing and installation processes.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Ability to write clear reports using a standard laptop.

Responsibilities

• Support district sales personnel in handling service calls and assist in problem resolution.
• Participate in design reviews, start-ups and evaluations of new applications.
• Assist in critiquing products for serviceability, performance and reliability.
• Interact with Company resources and work as a team to satisfy customers.
• Assess on-site field problems and operate testing equipment to restore conformance.
• Coordinate replacement parts programs with plants to ensure component availability.
• Prepare reports detailing problems and corrective actions.
• Document value provided to customers and develop troubleshooting guides.
