Job summary

iConnexion Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Field Application Engineer Manager (FAE Manager) to lead our Penang-based FAE team.

The role oversees all field application engineering activities, drives design-in opportunities, and manages customer and supplier relationships across consumer, automotive and industrial markets. This strategic, customer-facing leadership position combines deep technical expertise with team and project management, offering opportunities to guide regional initiatives and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in field application engineering or design engineering.
• Proven experience leading a technical team or multiple FAEs.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, analog/digital circuits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of FAEs to achieve design-in success and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex projects and advanced applications.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and suppliers to identify needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Oversee the design-in process from requirements to prototyping, evaluation and mass production.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops and training for customers and internal teams.
• Develop strategic account plans and manage regional customer partnerships.
