Job summary

Employment Care Consultancy in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance, assist staff with requests, perform basic handyman work, and keep accurate equipment history records. You will liaise with contractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely servicing of building systems.

Applicants should hold a NITEC, have a Class 3 or 2 motorcycle license (own bike advantageous), and show initiative to troubleshoot problems independently.

Qualifications

• NITEC qualification required; experienced applicants welcome.
• Class 3 or Class 2 motorcycle license preferred; own bike advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.
• Flexible with work schedule including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend to day-to-day maintenance operations
• Assist staff with their maintenance requests and attending to routine repairs and maintenance works
• Perform basic handyman work
• Keep proper records of work carried out and update equipment history records
• Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep the building in daily operational state
• Liaising and sourcing of vendors for quotation, equipment, servicing and to monitor the contractors in aspects of quality, schedule and safety during work execution.
• Perform standby duty to attend to fire alarm and air-condition faults during and after office hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
