The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of factory experience and is capable of coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, with Chinese language communication preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant factory experience.
• Knowledge of M&E systems, site coordination, and construction standards.
• Electrical License from Energy Market Authority (EMA) preferred.
• Ability to interpret M&E drawings and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Chinese for stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E installation works and liaise with contractors and consultants.
• Supervise M&E installation during the construction phase.
• Coordinate factory layout, manage bidding, project implementation and acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Support routine maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of M&E systems.
• Coordinate and manage contractors to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults within the factory.
• Monitor site progress and report issues.
• Manage fixed assets related to factory machinery.

A leading Multinational Corporation (MNC) headquartered in Taiwan is establishing a new factory in Singapore. We are seeking a Facility M&E Engineer to supervise its construction and manage the facility of the plant’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E installation works and liaise with contractors and consultants.
• Supervise M&E installation during the construction phase
• Coordinate factory layout, manage bidding and project implementation and acceptance
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Support routine maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting of M&E systems and resolve installation challenges
• Coordinateand manage the contractor to troubleshoot the electrical/mechanical faults within the factory
• Monitorsite progress and report issues
• Managefixed assets related to factory machinery

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Possessat least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a factory
• Knowledge of M&E systems, site coordination, and construction standards.
• Preferably possess an Electrical License from Energy Market Authority (EMA)
• Ability to interpret M&E drawings and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Able to communicate effectively and have strong problem-solving skills
• Able to speak Chinese to communicate with stakeholders and Chinese speaking clients
