He Xi Enterprise Pte Ltd is expanding its Livehouse & KTV operations and seeks an experienced Maintenance/Facilities Technician to ensure outlets run smoothly. You will inspect, troubleshoot and coordinate with contractors for lighting, HVAC, refrigeration and electrical systems, in a lively non-halal environment.
Role involves daily checks, responding to urgent issues, and maintaining safety records while ensuring energy efficiency.

Working hours: 6 days 10hours PM Shift (with 1 hour break)

Who are we Our Company (HQ from China) is expanding and opening a new shop at Far East Square, we are looking for an experience tech to help ensure the facilities are well equipped for operations. This role will help troubleshoot any facilities issues, including but no limited to , water piping, electrical and lighting, exhaust, aircon, refrigeration, and general work.
Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance of the outlet’s facilities and equipment, including lighting, air-conditioning, refrigeration/freezers, water systems, exhaust systems and commercial kitchen equipment.
Perform first-line troubleshooting and minor maintenance works, and promptly identify equipment faults, water leaks, abnormal electrical conditions, wear and tear, or other potential safety issues.
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues such as power trips, water leaks, equipment breakdowns, lighting failures and air-conditioning faults. Escalate issues requiring specialised or licensed technical work to the appropriate contractor or licensed personnel.
Carry out minor general repairs and maintenance that do not require a specialised licence, including replacement of light bulbs, basic plumbing works, fixtures, fittings and other routine facility maintenance.
Conduct visual and operational checks of electrical equipment and installations. Any electrical installation, wiring, modification, repair or other regulated electrical work must be carried out by or under the supervision of an appropriately Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW), where required under Singapore regulations.
Coordinate and follow up with external contractors, Licensed Electrical Workers, Licensed Plumbers, air-conditioning technicians and other specialist service providers for repairs and maintenance beyond the Facilities Technician's authorised scope.
Support outlet renovation, upgrading works and installation of new equipment by coordinating contractors, monitoring work progress, assisting with site requirements and ensuring maintenance-related issues are properly followed up.
Maintain proper records of inspections, maintenance, repairs and safety checks. Monitor spare parts and maintenance supplies, assist with tracking energy consumption and recommend practical energy-saving or preventive maintenance improvements.
Minimum 2 years of facilities, building maintenance, F&B, hotel or related maintenance experience.
Good general knowledge of facility maintenance, including basic electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, air-conditioning, refrigeration and commercial kitchen equipment.
Able to perform first-line troubleshooting and minor repairs independently, and able to identify when a fault requires escalation to a licensed or specialised contractor.
Familiarity with basic troubleshooting of POS/ordering systems, routers and other common outlet equipment will be an advantage.
Relevant Singapore-recognised technical qualifications, electrical licences, plumbing qualifications, refrigeration/air-conditioning certifications, welding certifications or other related trade certifications will be an advantage.
Experience with professional lighting and sound equipment maintenance will be an advantage.
Proficient in the use of common maintenance tools and able to carry out routine preventive maintenance safely.
Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness, able to work in a fast-paced F&B environment and willing to work shifts or respond to urgent maintenance issues when required.
All regulated electrical, plumbing or other specialised works must only be undertaken where the employee holds the appropriate licence/qualification, or otherwise be referred to the relevant licensed personnel or contractor.
