Job summary

PRIMESTAFF MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE LTD is recruiting a hands-on Facilities Technician to support daily operation and maintenance at a nursing home. You will be the first point of contact for facilities issues, inspect and troubleshoot M&E and ACMV systems, and perform safe minor repairs within your competency.

The role requires 1–2 years' hands-on experience with BMS and AHU, the ability to work independently, and comfort using CMMS and digital work-order tools.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on experience with BMS and AHU.
• Able to diagnose faults and perform first-line troubleshooting or minor repairs.
• Comfortable working independently and determining when vendor support is required.
• Willing to perform physical site duties and access plant rooms, ladders, etc.

Responsibilities

• Attend to facilities faults, breakdowns and maintenance requests at the nursing home.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting of M&E, electrical and ACMV systems.
• Carry out safe minor repairs to lighting, switches, sockets, and other fittings.
• Inspect and troubleshoot air-conditioning systems, pumps and ventilation equipment.
• Attend to common plumbing defects, leaks and minor building repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive-maintenance checks.
• Support fire-safety inspections and fire drills.
