The Lentor Residence Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the nursing home's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical assets.
Responsibilities include inspections, safety compliance, reporting hazards, supporting emergencies, troubleshooting faults, coordinating with vendors, and keeping maintenance records. A hardworking team player with a willingness to learn is preferred.
Responsible for the hands‑on maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the nursing home's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing and sanitary fixtures, carpentry and minor civil works, mechanical systems, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and medical equipment
Ensure all works comply with workplace safety, fire safety, and regulatory requirements
Identify potential hazards or defects and report them to the Operations Manager/Assistant Operations Manager
Support emergency situations such as power failure, water leakage, or system breakdowns
Troubleshoot faults and assist with installations
Support AMR operations and facility management systems
Assist in safety measures, fire drills, and compliance with WSH regulations
Coordinate with vendors/contractors and manage spare parts inventory
Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records
Perform basic housekeeping and facility upkeep tasks as needed
GCE N-Level, NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management or related disciplines preferred, but not mandatory
Candidates with relevant hands‑on experience in facilities maintenance will be considered
At least 2‑3 years of relevant working experience
Hardworking, willing to learn, and a team player
Able to perform manual tasks and optimal mental clarity
