Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain production equipment including tank truck, blending and filling lines. You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate calibration with vendors, and troubleshoot of basic mechanical/electrical/instrument issues.

The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing, preferably in Petrochemical/O&G, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• O&G with hands-on in basic mechanical/electrical/instrument troubleshooting.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service production equipment (Tank Truck, Blending, Filling).
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration follow-up with vendors for equipment and instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery with contract vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors to maintain facility services (air compressors, dryers, air-conditioning, plumbing, lighting, sprinkler).
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes.
• Perform daily start-up checks on production and facilities equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, downtime logs, permits and equipment checklists.
• Provide basic training on new equipment/tools to production operators.

• Maintain and service production equipment (Tank Truck, Blending, Filling)
• Perform preventive maintenance and TPM activities and follow up with various vendors for equipment and instruments calibration (WS, WB, FM, TG, heat sealer)
• Assist contract vendor to troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment issues
• Liaise with various vendors to support upkeep of facility services such as air compressors, dryers, air-conditioning, plumbing, lighting and sprinkler systems
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes
• Perform daily machine start-up checks for production and facilities equipment
• Maintain maintenance records, downtime logs, permits and equipment checklists
• Support minor repair requests from internal departments
• Conduct basic operational training of new equipment or tools / jig for production operators

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 1-2 years’ experience working in manufacturing environment, with preference for Petrochemical industry
• O&G with hands-on in basic mechanical/electrical/instrument trouble shooting
