Job summary

Jardine Engineering (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operations and service delivery for assigned commercial buildings. You will lead site teams, manage budgets, ensure statutory compliance and client satisfaction while optimizing asset performance.

The role requires a degree/diploma in engineering or FM, 5+ years in FM, and strong leadership with stakeholder engagement. Occasional after-hours availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant facilities management experience in commercial buildings.
• Prior experience with a facilities management service provider is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of building M&E systems and statutory requirements.
• Strong leadership, client management, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, organisational and decision-making abilities.
• Able to respond to operational emergencies outside normal hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily facilities management operations, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable building performance.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance and performance of M&E systems including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, lifts and BMS.
• Plan and manage preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure asset reliability.
• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors and vendors to ensure effective service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, SLAs, KPIs and client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing operational concerns and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Manage operational budgets, manpower planning, procurement, cost control and resource optimisation.
• Oversee statutory inspections, regulatory compliance, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Identify and implement operational improvements, energy efficiency initiatives and asset enhancement opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients, building owners, tenants, consultants and relevant authorities on facilities management matters.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Lead emergency response, incident management and business continuity arrangements to minimise disruptions.
