Job summary

ENGIE is seeking a seasoned facilities management lead to oversee a multidisciplinary team for commercial and public sector buildings. You will manage ACMV systems, ensure safety and quality standards, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and service providers in Singapore.

The candidate will drive cost control, budgeting, and performance audits while delivering reliable maintenance and timely rectifications in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Proven experience in facility management in a large facility.
• Able to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a team of assistant managers, engineers, technical officers, supervisors and technicians in facilities management for commercial buildings, ministry buildings, or hospitals.
• Establish good working relationships with clients and develop trust and confidence.
• Establish and maintain quality service standards, ensuring regular meetings with clients and sub providers.
• Take charge of the overall Air Conditioning Maintenance Ventilation (ACMV) system and ensure thermal comfort is maintained.
• Schedule maintenance activities for ACMV systems (chillers, AHU, FCU, fire protection, gas systems) and track works.
• Conduct daily audits to ensure outsource service providers meet contractual obligations and SLAs.
• Prepare tender documents, plan, coordinate and execute rectification works; manage project costing and budgets.
