About the Role
We are seeking a Facilities Management Executive to support the daily operations and maintenance of a government project site. The role involves coordinating maintenance works, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and to maintain building performance and safety.
Job description
- Assist in carrying out building and structural inspections in compliance with BCA periodic inspection requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports, technical reports, and photographic documentation.
- Assist in preparing method statements, work procedures, and risk assessments.
- Support the Project Manager in daily operations for maintenance and small-scale construction works.
- Supervise and coordinate site activities, including repair, rectification, and minor construction works.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth work progress.
- Monitor work quality, progress, and compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Attend site inspections, meetings, and progress reviews.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, material submissions, and site records.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Building Services or related field
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or construction projects
- Experience in government or institutional projects will be an advantage
- Able to work in a site-based environment
- Good coordination and communication skills
