Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is looking for an individual to perform supervisory tasks and manage daily operations in facilities maintenance. The role includes planning and managing the on-site integrated facilities management team, monitoring M&E systems, ensuring compliance, and acting as the building Fire Safety Manager.

FSM/GMAP/GMFM certifications are advantageous, and candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply. This position offers career stability and progression, with responsibilities requiring availability for emergencies at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform supervisory role and manage daily operations.
• Plan and direct the performance of the on-site IFM team.
• Monitor operation of M&E systems/equipment supporting the facility.
• Analyse system operation to determine causes of problems.
• Manage a multi-disciplinary team of contractors.
• Ensure KPIs are met and provide specialist advice.
• Assist with feasibility studies and construction option appraisals.
• Preparation of reports and act as the building Fire Safety Manager.
• Conduct fire safety briefings and execute fire evacuation.
• Recommend Green Mark initiatives.
• Provide training and support to expand staff capabilities.
• Available for work emergencies at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform supervisory role and manage daily operation, have a multi-disciplinary background and experience in planning, managing and executing the requirements of the facilities maintenance contract.
• Plan and direct the performance of the on‑site integrated facilities management (IFM) team in ensuring that work performed in all areas are accomplished efficiently with minimum disruptions.
• Monitor operation of M&E systems/equipment supporting the facility and critical operations.
• Analyse system operation to determine cause of any problem or malfunctions and recommend corrective action as required.
• Manage a multi‑disciplinary team of contractors to ensure compliance and complete the works to the satisfaction of client.
• Ensure that KPIs are met and provide specialist advice to improve existing service delivery.
• Assist with feasibility studies and construction option appraisals of building projects to be managed.
• Preparation of reports. Appointed as the building Fire Safety Manager.
• Conduct table‑top exercises and fire safety briefings and execution of fire evacuation.
• Recommend Green Mark initiatives.
• Provide training and support to expand the capabilities of the operations and maintenance staff.
• Readily available and contactable at all times including weekends and public holidays through handphone for work emergencies.
