Job summary

Progressive Builders Private Limited is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance role focusing on building upkeep across multiple sites in Singapore. You will inspect facilities, coordinate with contractors and service providers, and organize quotations and maintenance work to ensure timely completion.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in building maintenance or facilities management, good coordination, and independent work capabilities to manage several buildings and urgent issues as

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, facilities management or a similar role.
• Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance service providers will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of building services, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and general repair works.
• Good follow-up and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple buildings and maintenance matters.
• Responsible, practical and proactive in identifying and resolving problems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to attend to urgent maintenance issues when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of company buildings and identify maintenance issues.
• Follow up on repair, maintenance and rectification works to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, service providers and suppliers for repair and maintenance works.
• Obtain quotations and arrange maintenance works where required.
• Monitor the progress and quality of maintenance works and ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Attend to building-related faults, breakdowns and urgent maintenance matters.
• Keep proper records of maintenance works, service contracts, quotations and invoices.
• Schedule and monitor routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Follow up on outstanding defects and ensure they are closed promptly.
• Liaise with internal departments, site staff and contractors on building and facility matters.
• Assist with other facilities and general maintenance matters as assigned.
