Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking an experienced facilities management professional to oversee daily maintenance, repair, and readiness of assigned spaces and critical systems. You will coordinate with stakeholders to implement maintenance plans, monitor serviceability, and support emergency responses.

The role requires attention to non-compliances, and strong communication across levels of seniority.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering or facility management (FM) or related field.
• 3+ years of facilities management, construction or infrastructure operations preferred.
• Meticulous with keen eye for detail and non-compliances in maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for assigned spaces and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Monitor BI system performance and maintenance history.
• Liaise with stakeholders to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
• Support units in finance and procurement related to maintenance and minor works.
• Monitor work orders and repair quality and elevate performance issues as needed.
• Ensure critical facilities remain operational during disruptions.
• Maintain asset/resource records and support audits.
• Facilitate reallocation of underutilised assets to optimise resources.
