Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks engineers to advance facility designs for semiconductor processes, focusing on capacity, safety, and code compliance. You will specify critical components, review standards, and ensure interfaces with mechanical and electrical systems are robust.

You will collaborate with in-house teams to implement AI-augmented and automation solutions, improve SOPs, and drive safety and quality improvements across facilities in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering study to include good design practice for state-of-the-art system designs, system capacity and capability analysis, planning for future requirements, as well as code compliance.
• Maintain engineering data bases in support of capacity tracking, capital equipment facilitation, and cash flow project management for assigned systems/areas.
• Provide support for start-up of new equipment and ensure that all equipment will properly interface to other mechanical and electrical systems.
• Specify critical components for design projects and ensure designs meet all applicable codes and regulations.
• Review and improve Operation and Maintenance SOP and RA.
• Review and improve existing work processes via implementation AI-Augmented, Agentic Solutions or Automation solutions.
• Respond to system issues and perform Trouble Shooting with in-house TGCM contractors and OEMs.
• Verify all works done by Chemical and Gas section are in accordance with company safety guidelines; maintain good communication with other engineering disciplines and customers.
