Job summary

Micron Technology Singapore seeks a Chemical & Gas Engineer to design, operate, and optimize chemical and gas delivery systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.

• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering study with best design practices for state-of-the-art system designs and code compliance.
• Maintain engineering databases supporting capacity tracking and project management.
• Support start-up of new equipment and ensure proper interfaces with other systems.
• Specify critical components for designs and ensure compliance with IFC/IBC/NEC/NFPA standards.
• Perform studies on new facilities technologies to support semiconductor processes.
• Plan mid to long term infrastructure for facilities in line with company plans.
• Coordinate with TGCM contractors and OEMs to ensure smooth chemical and gas delivery systems.
• Review and improve SOPs and risk assessments; ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Plan plant and equipment layouts for efficient operation and compliance.
• Develop design criteria and performance specs to meet building and safety codes.
• Integrate AI-enabled insights to improve efficiency and quality, per standards.
