Job summary

Micron Technology Singapore is seeking a Fab Support Engineer to sustain critical fab systems, lead technicians, and ensure stable production. You will manage interlocks, safety, and process conditions on both support and main tools, driving cost reductions and process improvements.

You will evaluate new equipment, support OEM introductions, study RMS/SCADA dashboards, and apply AI-enabled insights to boost efficiency and reliability while maintaining compliance with Micron values.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across all levels.
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership with a track record of impact is desirable.
Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and engineering statistics would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Sustain and maintain fab support tools (vacuum pumps, scrubbers, chillers/heat exchangers).
Lead a team of technicians for compressed shift coverage on manufacturing lines.
Improve process conditions and safety setups for support and main tools (interlocks).
Upgrade process capability and control department spending for daily operations.
Manage RMS/SCADA and monitoring dashboards; drive process management projects.
Evaluate new equipment and materials; introduce and operate OEM equipment.
Conduct abnormal analyses and implement continuous improvement measures.
Integrate AI-enabled tools and insights to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
