ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Engineer (Semiconductor Fab) to deliver on-site support for 24/7 manufacturing operations, ensuring maximum line availability and rapid incident recovery. The role focuses on system operations, shop floor automation, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in CS/CE/EE, is proficient in Oracle SQL, and is willing to provide on-site coverage. Training will cover SOPs and end-user support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, and troubleshooting).
• Willingness to provide on-site operational support for a 24/7 manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust L1/L2 on-site support for 24/7 fab manufacturing operations to maintain maximum line availability and rapid incident recovery.
• Design, maintain, and upgrade Shop Floor Automation (SFA) systems, with a focus on Equipment Manager automation and station-level integration.
• Gather operational requirements, design technical specifications, and deploy software enhancements to optimize system response times.
• Partner with cross-functional manufacturing and engineering teams to identify automation bottlenecks, lower cycle times, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and lead training sessions for end-users and junior technicians.
