Job summary

U3 INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Facilities Associate Engineer to support operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of semiconductor facility systems in a high-volume wafer fabrication environment.

You will work with facilities, equipment, process, and engineering teams to ensure reliable and efficient plant infrastructure, while coordinating with contractors and upholding safety standards. This role may involve on-call or shift support as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Facilities Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on facilities engineering or maintenance experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to independently perform root cause analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
• Proactive, hands-on, and safety-conscious approach to engineering and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot facility systems to ensure continuous semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities equipment and systems to maintain reliability.
• Respond promptly to alarms or breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring facility issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor facility parameters to ensure systems operate within specifications and comply with safety requirements.
• Support installation, commissioning, qualification, modification, and upgrade of facilities systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to execute maintenance, repair, installation, and improvement projects.
