Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore invites an Equipment Engineer to maintain and support tool readiness in our wafer fabrication environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and participate in improvement projects to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and compliance.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering and have at least 1 year of relevant experience; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work rotating shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in equipment engineering, preferably in wafer fab/electronics/electrical.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support equipment readiness
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot and upgrade equipment to minimize downtime
• Analyze and monitor technical charts
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects
• Ensure good safety practices and custody of tools and equipment
• Perform activities in a safe manner and support EHS & Security requirements
