Job summary

Broadcom Corporation in Singapore seeks an Equipment Engineer to support wafer fabrication equipment at Senoko or Depot Road. The role involves autonomous and preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and hands-on operation in a high‑vacuum environment.

The candidate will handle chemicals, gas cylinders, spare parts, and tooling, contributing to continuous improvement, ERT safety practices, and efficient housekeeping across production and maintenance areas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a Wafer Fab environment or with high vacuum systems.
• ITE or Professional Certifications in mechanical or electrical works.
• Experience handling chemicals and gas cylinders is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform Autonomous Preventive Maintenance (APM), Preventive Maintenance (PM) and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement and provide suggestions.
• Handle chemicals and gas cylinders.
• Management of assigned machine spare parts and tools.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, learning, and skill development.
• Part of the ERT team, and ensure good safety practices.
• Maintain good housekeeping on the production floor, in the office, and in maintenance support areas.
