Job summary

Micron Singapore is seeking a Senior Engineer, FAC MECHANICAL to lead and manage mechanical facilities systems in a 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will drive reliability, preventative maintenance, and engineering projects across HVAC, cleanroom, and process utility systems to maximize uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years semiconductor facilities experience.
• Expertise in Cleanroom HVAC, Chilled Water, Process Exhaust, and other facility systems.
• Proficient in problem solving and data analysis methodologies.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and reliability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and design Cleanroom Facilities mechanical system expansion projects to support future tool utilities.
• Respond to system issues and production interruptions affecting mechanical systems.
• Identify and evaluate advanced technology to improve energy and water use in facilities.
• Perform capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systems.
• Enforce safety, environmental and quality policies in all work activities.
• Drive preventive maintenance programs for optimal uptime and performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support procurement using ARIBA/SAP for services and parts.
• Collaborate with control teams to implement AI-enabled efficiency improvements.
