Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a Supervisory role in Food & Beverage to deliver exceptional guest service and lead service staff on the floor. The incumbent will escort guests, supervise servers, handle reservations, and support management in achieving service KPIs.

The position requires a hospitality qualification, at least one year of supervisory experience, and readiness to work varied shifts, including holidays. A commitment to safety and leadership development is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Food Safety and leadership training required.

Responsibilities

• Escort guests to seats and provide friendly, excellent service.
• Assist with table preparation and proper handling of operating equipment.
• Maintain a pleasing and helpful attitude toward guests at all times.
• Handle telephone messages and reservations.
• Direct guests to tables and balance seating across stations.
• Handle guest concerns and questions.
• Perform cashiering duties as needed.
• Supervise servers to ensure high service standards.
• Support Assistant Manager and department in achieving KPIs.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, excellent service to all Guests by escorting them to their respective seats.
• Assist staff to perform preparation, table set up and ensure the proper handling of all operating equipment.
• Assume at all times a pleasing and helpful attitude towards each Guest.
• Handle politely and channel all telephone messages received and handle reservations.
• Direct Guests to their table and remember to scatter the Guests evenly at various stations of the restaurant.
• Handle and solve any concerns and questions from customers.
• Perform cashiering duties as and when required.
• Supervise servers to ensure excellent customer service is provided every time.
• Support Assistant Manager and Department in achieving all goals and Key Performance Objectives.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Diploma/Degree in hospitality or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1 year at supervisory level

Other Prerequisite

• Food Safety, leadership training program
• Willing to work various shifts, including mornings and afternoons, as well as on public holidays
