Job summary

PSA BDP Singapore PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced logistics professional to oversee daily shipment order execution, liaise with warehouses and transport providers, and prepare shipping documents.

You will coordinate with carriers, trucks and depots to ensure timely stuffing and port handoffs, while managing permits and compliance. The role requires 3–5 years in sea operations, familiarity with SAP and logistics software, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, SCM or related field is advantageous.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in managing Sea operations.
• Supervisory experience may be considered for higher responsibility.
• Familiarity with SAP, logistics software and MS Office is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; good interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process shipment orders triggered by Customers.
• Book freight with nominated carriers based on customer guidance.
• Provide quotations for warehousing, transportation and documentation services.
• Coordinate with truckers to move containers to customer premises and to port.
• Prepare shipping permits, declarations and final shipping documents.
• Monitor documents for shipment clearance and regulatory compliance.
