Job summary

Shipco Transport Inc. is seeking an Export Customer Service Coordinator in Singapore to support day-to-day customer queries, coordinate with carriers and warehouses, and monitor shipments from booking to cargo arrival.

The role requires English communication skills, about 1 year of freight industry experience, and basic knowledge of NVOCC operations. You will ensure SOP adherence and effective coordination across sales and documentation teams.

Qualifications

• Must have English communication skills (written & spoken).
• Approximately 1 year of similar experience in Ocean/Air freight.
• Basic knowledge of NVOCC operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend to local and overseas customer inquiries about rates.
• Respond promptly to booking confirmations and shipment follow-ups until cargo arrival.
• Prepare bookings and tele-marketing for local cargoes.
• Coordinate container status with carriers and warehouse/truckers.
• Coordinate with warehouse for vessel changes and departure dates.
• Assist with railing instructions and liaise with warehouse.
• Follow up on discrepancies in packages with shippers.
• Ensure shipping documents are prepared within deadlines.
• Coordinate internally with sales and documentation teams.
